What is Upfyn?
Upfyn is your AI assistant for work on your computer. It brings your projects, files, connected apps and tools into one workspace, with Analyst and Developer modes for different kinds of work.
Bala, Yuva or Rishi — where do I start?
Start with Bala for everyday text and drafting. Choose Yuva for coding and multimodal work. Use Rishi for deeper, multi-step reasoning and research. Compare the models to choose the depth your task needs.
Do I have to move all my work?
Start with the files, projects and tools you already use. Connect the apps you need and give Upfyn the context for the task. You do not need to copy everything into a new workspace first.
Can I use my existing AI subscriptions and keys?
Upfyn supports connected providers, subscriptions and your own API keys. Available models and capabilities depend on the provider and account you connect.
Does local-first mean everything stays offline?
No. The desktop app works with files and tools on your computer, but cloud models and connected services still require network access. The data involved depends on the model, integration and task you choose.
Who stays in control?
You do. Upfyn uses permissions for access and actions. Remote assistance requires mutual approval, and you can revoke access locally. Review what you share and approve before handing over a task.
