One assistant. Six specialists.

You work with one assistant. Under the surface, Upfyn separates orchestration, planning, context, execution, verification and memory so each stage has a defined job and boundary. The six are named for Indian minds, and named is all it is: each is a working method taken from what that mind taught, built into software with its own tools and its own memory. None of them is the person, speaks for the person, or carries their authority. Read the full statement

Meet the six

In the order they run. The first decides which of the others a job actually needs, so a small request can finish with one of them and a large one uses all six.

  1. 01 · The Orchestrator · Bala, Yuva, RishiChanakyaThe one you actually talk to. It reads what you asked for, decides how it should be done, hands the pieces to the specialists who do them, and holds the approvals — nothing irreversible happens without coming back through here.
  2. 02 · The Planner · Rishi, YuvaAryabhataTakes one goal and turns it into a dependency-ordered graph of smaller tasks — what has to happen before what, what can run at the same time, and what counts as each piece being done.
  3. 03 · The Examiner · No modelCharakaBefore any delegated step runs, this decides what that step is allowed to know — the project’s own instructions, the relevant slice of the session, the facts remembered from before — and packs them in. Then it is the one path every result comes back through.
  4. 04 · The Builder · Bala, Yuva, RishiVishwakarmaThe layer that actually touches things. It picks a worker that can do the job asked of it, and that worker opens the files, makes the changes, runs the commands, and fills in the forms — on your machine, inside the permissions you set.
  5. 05 · The Verifier · No modelSushrutaFinds the project’s own checks — the build, the tests, the linter, the type-checker — and actually runs each one. A check passes when the command it runs succeeds, and for no other reason.
  6. 06 · The Keeper · BalaPaniniThe memory. It keeps what was learned about your project as durable facts, pulls the few that matter back in on every single turn, and closes the loop at the end of a session by writing down what changed.

Put one assistant to work.

You do not manage six personalities. Upfyn routes the work through planning, context, execution, verification and memory under the permissions you set.
